Overview

Provides overall leadership and management of the RELANCE project, a multi-country and multi-sectoral initiative. Ensures strategic direction, quality implementation, effective consortium coordination, timely delivery of results, donor compliance, risk management, and accountability.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and strategic oversight of the RELANCE project across three countries.
  • Lead the day-to-day functioning of the Consortium Management Unit (CMU).
  • Ensure interventions meet international standards and sectoral guidelines.
  • Oversee overall budget performance and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain strong relationships with consortium partners.
  • Ensure implementation of the regional MEAL framework.
  • Maintain oversight of operational, financial, safeguarding and security risks.
  • Represent the consortium in engagement with SRF, donors, clusters, government authorities and coordination platforms.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality narrative reports and inputs for financial reports.
  • Provide leadership and matrix supervision to the Regional Project Team.
Required Experience

Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience managing complex humanitarian and resilience programmes. At least 5 years managing multi-country and multi-sector programmes. Proven experience managing consortium projects and partnerships with national NGOs. Experience in managing funds with institutional donors such as SRF, ECHO, FCDO, EU, BHA, SIDA, UNICEF or similar. Strong experience in budget management and donor compliance. Experience working in fragile and insecure environments.

Qualifications

Master's degree in International Development, Humanitarian Affairs, Public Health, Social Sciences, Project Management or related field.
