Overview

Manages complex and large Procurement Services (PS) function of the Ethiopia Country Office (ECO). The role is responsible for engaging with the Government, Development Partners, Banks, Implementing Partners and Programme Sections on procurement services, end-to-end supply chain system strengthening and supply financing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages the Procurement Services Portfolio – planning, forecasting, strengthening partnership, implementation, project management and monitoring
• Establishes linkages with supply system strengthening, programme implementation and country/regional priorities through Procurement Services
• Conducts internal and external awareness about Procurement Services

Required Experience

At least 8 years of relevant work experience in supply management, international level procurement, supply chain management, logistics, project management, public procurement, capacity building, partnership management, government relations, customs clearance, supply planning and in any other related fields is required.

Qualifications

A Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, International Development, Health, or related social sciences fields is required.
