The Supply and Logistics Associate performs highly skilled work on UNICEF supply chains, managing complex cases and client requests, requiring evaluation of difficult situations and adaptation of procedures. The role involves end-to-end supply chain management and input into improved services and delivery mechanisms.
Minimum six years of relevant administrative experience in supply chain management or in a commercial context is required. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts. Experience in emergency logistics is highly desirable. Experience with long-term agreements is desirable. Experience in capacity building is desirable.
Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to Accounting, Commerce, Supply/Purchasing, Finance, Finance and Investment, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Procurement, Public Administration, International Business, Data Analytics and any other related fields, is required. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a relevant field may replace three years of related work experience. A master’s degree may replace an additional two years.
