Overview
The Data Officer will lead the design and delivery of data products and analytical solutions to support organizational priorities and improve decision-making. The role involves advising stakeholders on data-driven opportunities and shaping practical approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of data products, analytical models, dashboards, mobile applications, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Advise business stakeholders on data-driven opportunities and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Own the development, deployment, validation, and continuous improvement of predictive models, machine learning pipelines, reporting solutions, and data products.
- Define and standardize WBP data components, measures, methodologies, and reporting approaches.
- Establish and maintain a consolidated data layer or data mesh for WBP analytics.
- Provide technical guidance to analysts or junior colleagues and support the adoption of self-service analytics.
Required Experience
5 years of relevant experience. Experience in financial planning, reporting, budget analytics, performance management, or large/complex organizations is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in information systems, data science, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, finance, business analytics, or a related field.
