Overview
The IT Solution Architect leads the technical design and implementation of IT solutions, ensuring compliance with WFP standards and high quality in technical usability, user acceptability, and domain suitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design software architecture and data models.
- Support the Product Manager in presenting IT Solution Proposals.
- Ensure high technical quality and compliance with WFP standards.
- Provide direction and guidance to development teams.
- Prepare high-level effort estimations.
- Review and approve prioritised Backlog tickets.
- Create and prioritize technical tickets.
- Set-up and maintain IT solution environments.
- Ensure IT security monitoring tools are in place.
- Collaborate on CI/CD infrastructure.
- Act as Scrum Master if needed, coaching the team and facilitating ceremonies.
- Resolve impediments for the Development Team.
Required Experience
Five years’ experience with software development, and a proven track record of planning, leading and executing related projects.
Qualifications
University degree or a minimum of 8 years of equivalent working experience in software development, or related fields.
