Overview
Provide technical support and capacity building to implementing partners for education activities, conduct monitoring visits, and coordinate with local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and mentoring to the Implementing Partner (IP).
- Plan and facilitate School Management Shura (SMS) training and orientation sessions.
- Organize and conduct teacher training and refresher training.
- Support teachers through classroom observation, coaching, and follow-up visits.
- Conduct social audit sessions at community level.
- Ensure training sessions are delivered according to approved materials and guidelines.
- Conduct regular monitoring visits to Community-Based Education (CBE) classes.
- Observe classroom teaching and provide feedback.
- Monitor attendance, learning environment, teaching quality, and material use.
- Identify implementation gaps and recommend solutions.
- Follow up on action points from monitoring visits.
- Maintain close coordination with the Implementing Partner, local education authorities, community leaders, and School Management Shuras.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical updates.
- Support the implementation of education activities according to work plans and timelines.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams.
- Prepare field visit reports, training reports, and monthly technical progress reports.
- Document achievements, lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations.
- Maintain organized technical files, attendance records, monitoring tools, and training documentation.
- Support data collection, verification, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding standards, and donor requirements.
- Promote child protection, inclusion, and gender-sensitive approaches.
- Participate in relevant meetings, workshops, and capacity-building events.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Education Program Manager or Kabul Office.
Required Experience
2-3 years of experience in technical education programming. Knowledge of local contexts and experience in technical staff support is an advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Science (Sociology, Economics, Psychology) and BBA with education experience. Master’s degree preferred in all fields of study.
