Overview
The Pediatric and SCANU Nurse will support nursing activities in the SCANU pediatric ward and urgent care within the response, ensuring quality standards for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with program nursing standard operating procedures.
- Support emergency preparedness activities.
- Assume responsibility for nursing activities in the SCANU pediatric ward and urgent care in labour post operative block.
- Work with the rest of the nursing and midwifery team in a roster schedule to ensure quality standards for nursing care of patients are met.
Required Experience
- At least two years of previous experience of Woking in SCANU/NICU or pediatric ward.
- Ability and willingness to travel to remote and insecure locations for periods of time and on short notice
- Experience in neonatal and SCANU Nursing and Pediatric Emergency Nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships both inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to reflect and learn from personal and program performance and act on lessons learned.
Qualifications
Diploma/BSc in Nursing from an accredited academic institution and recognized & registered by the Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNDC)
