Overview

Consultant to support the UNCT and GTG in delivering gender mainstreaming trainings to UN personnel and implementing partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training workplan.
  • Develop relevant training materials and evaluation tools for ToT sessions.
  • Lead the delivery of two-day ToT training sessions.
  • Conduct evaluations of training sessions and analyze participant feedback.
  • Develop training reports for each training session.
Required Experience

At least seven years of practical experience with gender mainstreaming in development/humanitarian programs/projects at national and international levels, in Afghanistan or a similar country context is required. Experience in conducting gender evaluations, gender data collection and analysis, including interviews, surveys, and focus groups is desirable. At least 3 years of experience in results-based management, review, and/or evaluation is desirable.

Qualifications

Advanced (Masters) degree related to gender studies or social sciences is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
