Key Responsibilities
- Support the identification and assessment of environmental and social (E&S) risks and potential mitigation measures during IFC investment and advisory due diligence.
- Review project documentation and assist with client interviews alongside E&S Specialists.
- Review E&S documentation, impact assessments, management plans etc. for consistency with IFC Performance Standards, accurateness, and completeness.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and input E&S information into IFC internal systems.
- Utilize external tools and data sources to support risk analysis and development of recommendations.
- Help ensure completeness, quality, and consistency of due diligence records and documentation.
- Assist in monitoring the implementation of E&S action plans by IFC clients.
- Support supervision activities, including client site visits and reviews of E&S Annual Monitoring Reports.
- Maintain and update databases, project documentation, and records in a timely manner.
- Contribute to portfolio-level reporting and analytics.
Required Experience
2–6 years of relevant professional experience.
Qualifications
A minimum of a master’s degree in environmental sciences, engineering, international development, social sciences, biodiversity/ecology, anthropology, or related disciplines.
