CFA 2026 002 | Senior Project Associate (Health) | Roster only

Overview

This Call for Applications aims to establish a roster of qualified candidates to support emergency health response operations. Selected candidates may be mobilized for surge staffing requirements during disasters and humanitarian response operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently lead and coordinate the implementation of emergency health response projects.
• Monitor implementation progress, identify operational challenges, and recommend adaptive measures.
• Research, monitor, analyse, and present information on public health emergencies, disease outbreaks, and humanitarian developments.
• Monitor project budget utilization and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate financial, administrative, operational, and technical aspects of health response projects.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate capacity-building activities.
• Represent the project in coordination meetings and technical working groups.
• Lead the preparation of correspondence, situation reports, briefing notes, presentations, and donor reports.
• Document good practices, lessons learned, and operational innovations.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to project staff.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or, High School diploma with seven years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations;
• Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and,
• Prior work experience with international humanitarian organisations, non-government or government institutions/organisation in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.

Qualifications
