Overview

The Programme Support Analyst serves as the Country Office's central authority on programme quality assurance, performance management, and financial integrity, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and corporate standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure programme portfolio compliance with UNDP POPP, RBM standards, and ICF.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring.
  • Ensure high-quality, timely donor reporting and financial analysis.
  • Lead implementation of programme and project quality assurance and RBM systems.
  • Strengthen risk identification and mitigation measures, and oversee audit follow-up.
  • Lead capacity-building initiatives for programme and project teams.
Required Experience

Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national and/or international level in providing policy, business development and partnerships advisory services and well versed on programme finance management services, monitoring and evaluation and quality assurance processes is required. Experience in programme finance management, including budgeting, delivery tracking, financial analysis, and resource planning is desired. Experience in audit and risk management, including experience responding to audits and strengthening internal control systems is desired. Experience in designing and implementing RBM frameworks, including results frameworks, KPIs, and theories of change is desired. Experience in quality assurance and oversight of project/programme cycles, from design to evaluation is desired. Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.), database packages, and web-based management systems such as ERP is required. Proven experience in handling multi-sectoral coordination among professionals and regional teams is desired. Experience in integrated programming with good knowledge of UN System/UNDP's corporate policies and programmes is desired.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field is required or A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of an advanced university degree.
