Overview

The Antimicrobial Resistance Platform Leader will drive and update the agenda of the platform, ensuring its relevance and usefulness to MSF practitioners and the populations served. This role involves coordinating and facilitating the platform, connecting with members, and encouraging their engagement and contribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and update the agenda of the platform.
  • Build and steer the platform membership.
  • Make sure the platform communicates well with outsiders.
  • Act as a focal point for MSF or external entities.
  • Lead on organizing meetings and other activities.
  • Lead the development of the mandate and the annual update.
  • Keep the memory of the platform accessible on Sharepoint.
  • Promote AMR as a strategic priority within medical operations.
  • Support AMR OCs focal points and AMR platform members on the implementation of the AMR vision and strategic framework.
  • Ensure adequate coordination of learning and development strategies and capacity building on AMR.
  • Frame the operational research agenda on AMR within MSF.
  • Develop a strategy to address access issues on priority antimicrobials and diagnostic innovations.
  • Develop a guidance on monitoring the quality of AMR implementation in MSF projects.
  • Lead the development of the annual plan revision and annual priorities.
Required Experience
  • Robust technical and operational experience in AMR.
  • With MSF experience (field and HQ if possible).
  • With strategic view, and experience in the development of policies and strategies.
Qualifications

Medical doctor, nurse or microbiologist.

Contract Duration
3 years renewable once

Remuneration
MSF practice is to offer the compensation and benefits package in line with the MSF entity offering the contract.
