Overview

Supervises the receipt and custody of goods, commodities, and equipment in the assigned warehouse, maintaining stock control records and overseeing ERP system input.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises the receipt and custody of all goods, commodities, and equipment.
  • Maintains up to date stock control records.
  • Oversees accurate processing of ERP transactions.
  • Prepares appropriate supply documentation.
  • Conducts regular spot checks to ensure the accuracy of ERP stock data.
  • Issues all commodities as required.
  • Supervises warehouse staff and contractor staff.
  • Ensures safety measures are followed and monitors access authorization.
  • Manages assigned facilities, including monitoring and implementing infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
  • Ensures timely loading and off-loading of trucks.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience

At least five years’ experience in storekeeping or logistics functions is required.

Qualifications

Successful completion of secondary education; Diploma in business and office practice or other related discipline.

Contract Duration
Fixed Term Appointment for 1 year, including 1 year probation period with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory performance, and continuing need.

Remuneration
Monthly basic salary USD1,050.20, payable in JD at UN monthly exchange rate. Other benefits include monthly Provident Fund contribution (15.4% of basic salary paid by the Agency), compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, and dependency allowance (if applicable). Additional benefits: 2 days of sick leave for each completed month of service. 14 weeks of Maternity Leave. 2 weeks paternity leave.
