Overview
This role focuses on developing and executing strategies for regional roadmaps and nature-positive investment pathways within the Green Growth Pathways initiative. The purpose is to translate climate and nature ambition into practical transition pathways that foster sustainable growth and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction and delivery of the Regional Roadmaps workstream.
- Develop, design, and deliver regional roadmaps integrating climate, nature, and resilience objectives with economic development.
- Develop thought leadership to align finance and investment with nature-positive outcomes.
- Deliver data analysis and written outputs for World Economic Forum publications.
- Lead communications, thought leadership, and external positioning.
- Engage leaders across industries, finance, and government.
- Steward and expand working groups and executive communities.
- Build a programme of workshops, convenings, and community activities.
- Ensure successful delivery of initiative milestones.
Required Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in sustainability, with experience in business, finance or strategy consulting preferred. Demonstrated expertise in nature, climate, resilience, sustainable business transformation, and sustainable finance. Strong understanding of nature-positive transitions in business. Experience translating complex scientific, economic and sectoral insights into practical strategies, roadmaps and decision-making tools for senior stakeholders. Proven ability to design and lead multi-stakeholder initiatives. Experience engaging senior executives and public-sector leaders. Strong project and partner management experience, including managing consultants, knowledge partners and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. Entrepreneurial mindset, with comfort operating in ambiguity, shaping new initiatives and building platforms from emerging agendas. Exceptional communication, facilitation, writing and executive relationship-building skills.
