Research assistant on Transport and Road Safety in the Arab region

Overview

Support the review and enhancement of road safety measures in Arab countries, ensuring alignment with international standards and global plans for road safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, compile, analyze, summarize, and present information/data on transport and road safety issues in the Arab region.
• Retrieve, highlight, and compile information on road safety from various sources.
• Prepare input on the subject as required.
• Participate in the delivery of activities on transport and road safety policies.
• Prepare statistical tables and graphs.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and background substantive material on road safety related deliverables.
• Undertake specific analyses on selected subjects related to transport and road safety.
• Develop manuals, policy papers, and guides for using road safety tools.
• Assist in project management tasks.
• Carry out any other related duties as required.

Required Experience

A minimum of three years of professional experience in the field of Transport issues is required.

Qualifications

A Bachelor degree in Engineering, Transport, Road Safety or any other related field is required. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications is required.
