Lead Generation Consultant

Overview

The consultant will identify, qualify, and mobilize senior decision-makers from Australian and UK capital sources for the ASEAN Investment Forum 2026. The role involves phases of market appetite testing, delegation building, and hosting in Manila.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and categorize investment portfolio and develop an investor search strategy.
• Research and qualify institutional-scale prospects across various capital types.
• Match projects to investors and conduct early conversations.
• Refine investor proposition and invitation materials.
• Conduct tailored executive outreach and referral management.
• Convert qualified interest into confirmed Forum registrations.
• Confirm and coordinate delegates, deliver pre-event briefings, and liaise on logistics.
• Host the delegation in Manila, including matchmaking and debriefing.
• Carry investor conversations into structured post-event follow-up.
• Hand over prospect lists, engagement trackers, and investor feedback to ESCAP.

Required Experience

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in foreign direct investment, investment attraction, trade and investment missions or related fields.
• Experience with renewable energy, infrastructure or critical minerals investment and lead generation of investors in these sectors for IPAs and EDAs.
• Familiarity with ASEAN investment environment.
• Experience in arranging country delegations to promote and attract investment.

Qualifications

University degree in economics, administration, business, international development or related field.
