Overview
This internship supports the UNEP FI Administration Team with administrative tasks related to HR processes, onboarding, and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing Consultant and Intern Terms of Reference.
- Support HR focal point in application processes for consultancies and internships.
- Assist in collating documentation for consultant and intern requests.
- Liaise with interns and consultants for onboarding documentation.
- Support HR focal points in contract processing documentation.
- Maintain and update HR files.
- Compile documentation for consultant payment processing.
- Coordinate with consultants and team leads for deliverable tracking.
- Provide administrative support for consultant payroll processes.
- Support FI Administration with invoicing processes.
- Track invoices and maintain documentation.
- Assist with follow-ups with member institutions.
- Support the organization of intern meetings and coaching sessions.
- Undertake additional administrative duties, including travel request review and documentation compilation.
Required Experience
Previous exposure to HR or administrative processes would be an advantage. Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Final year undergraduate or master’s degree student in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related area, or recently graduated (up to one year after graduation).
- Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate school programme, the final academic year of a first university degree program, or have graduated with a university degree and commence the internship within one year of graduation.
