Overview

Provide day-to-day field facilitation support and technical support for project implementation in Nepal.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing municipality-level implementation schedules and activity plans.
  • Support beneficiary identification, verification, and mobilization.
  • Support baseline surveys, field assessments, and data collection.
  • Assist in organizing trainings, demonstrations, and field activities.
  • Support dissemination of technical information.
  • Support producer groups, cooperatives, and enterprises.
  • Assist in site verification and monitoring of project-supported assets.
  • Support the collection and maintenance of records related to project infrastructure.
  • Maintain municipality-level project documentation.
  • Collect, compile, and submit progress information.
  • Assist in documenting field observations, achievements, and challenges.
  • Support monitoring visits and report observations.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and field visits.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for field missions.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Apply gender equality, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, climate resilience, safeguarding, informed consent, confidentiality, responsible data management and do-no-harm principles.
Required Experience
  • At least five years of relevant experience in agriculture, rural development, food security, climate resilience or community-based projects.
  • Experience working with local governments, farmer groups, cooperatives, women’s groups and community organizations.
  • Proven experience in field-level project implementation, training, beneficiary mobilization, monitoring, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience in data collection, documentation, monitoring and evaluation, and report preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital data-collection and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and undertake frequent field travel.
  • Extent and relevance of experience in municipality-level agricultural or rural-development project implementation.
  • Extent and relevance of experience in training, demonstrations, community engagement and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience with development partners, NGOs, United Nations agencies or government programmes.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Natural Resource Management, Development Studies or a related field.
