Overview

Provide operational, administrative, financial, and coordination support to the Kampala Fleet Hub and the Transport Training Centre (TTC), ensuring efficient delivery of fleet services and training activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the deployment of fleet assets and ensure timely and effective utilization of fleet trucks.
  • Manage and coordinate light vehicle service and maintenance requests.
  • Coordinate outsourced fleet personnel management.
  • Manage the Fleet Hub petty cash account.
  • Process procurement and financial transactions.
  • Provide operational, administrative, and coordination support to the Regional Fleet Manager.
  • Serve as the focal point for Transport Training Centre (TTC) activities.
  • Assist in training needs assessments and follow-up actions.
  • Support the organization and delivery of training events, workshops, and meetings.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the collection, organization, and management of audio-visual content.
  • Contribute to the implementation of communication and visibility activities for the TTC.
  • Assist in the development of communication products and outreach materials.
Required Experience

At least seven years of experience with a secondary school certificate OR University degree (Diploma/Bachelor’s) with a minimum of three or more years of experience in supply chain, with proven capability in fleet management. Prior experience with the UN system or an international NGO is desirable. Experience in computer applications (MS Office, internet). Knowledge of fleet management and transport operations. Knowledge of administrative and financial procedures, including procurement, invoice processing, and budget tracking. Understanding of communication and outreach activities. Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously. Excellent planning and follow-up skills.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school education OR University degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Supply Chain OR a related field is highly preferred.
