Assistant, Program - Kufra

Overview

Provide operational and programme support for the timely and quality implementation of a medical convoy project, with a focus on monitoring, reporting, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support field-level implementation of medical convoy activities.
• Conduct regular follow-up with medical convoy teams.
• Apply PMER practices for data collection and adherence to tools.
• Consolidate medical activity data and contribute to post-convoy summaries.
• Participate in coordination meetings and follow up on action points.
• Provide language and translation support.
• Collect, compile, and validate programme data.
• Contribute to the preparation of project agreements and reports.
• Liaise with LRCS to follow up on activities and collect documentation.
• Upload field reports and activity data to the GO platform.
• Maintain organized documentation and records.
• Coordinate with Health, Programme, and Quality and Accountability teams.
• Facilitate communication between field teams and IFRC staff.
• Support internal coordination processes.
• Carry out other assigned duties.

Required Experience

• Relevant experience in field-based humanitarian operations, including medical activities, health outreach, or community mobilization.
• Experience supporting PMER activities (monitoring, data collection, and reporting activities) at field or project level.
• Familiarity with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement or similar humanitarian operating environments.
• Prior experience working with mobile teams, outreach activities, or medical convoys - Preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical sciences, public health, social sciences, or a related field - Required.
• Background or coursework related to health, humanitarian response, or community-based programmes - Preferred.
