Overview
Lead UNOPS strategic engagement with key partners in Brussels, driving high-impact partnerships to strengthen positioning, portfolio growth, and mission delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to PFG strategy and planning, providing insights and reporting on key partner portfolios.
- Develop and implement strategies for key partners, embedding mission-led intent.
- Engage senior officials within key partner organizations and represent UNOPS in external forums.
- Serve as UNOPS lead and primary contact point for key partners, refining partnership frameworks.
- Lead opportunity development by convening meetings with key partners.
- Create, foster, and role model a culture of trust, empowerment, and accountability.
- Plan, recruit, manage, and develop a diverse workforce.
- Oversee measures to maintain the safety and security of personnel and assets.
- Ensure the effective and ethical use of resources.
- Lead sharing of knowledge related to key partners across the organization.
- Contribute to the development and introduction of innovation.
Required Experience
Relevant experience is work in strategic and managerial leadership in international development, business development, operations and/or programme management in a large international organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree (or equivalent) with 10 years of relevant experience is required.
