Overview
The role involves conducting quality assurance reviews of administrative and capital expense transactions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and preparing trial balance reports for the administrative expense ledger accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Review of the WBG’s administrative and capital expense transactions to verify accuracy of records, compliance with Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Assess controls relating to WBG country offices by conducting country office deep dive reviews.
- Follow-up with the units on appropriate and timely submission of documentation and clarifications for review.
- Prepare trial balance reports covering administrative expense ledger accounts and provide appropriate analyses of expenses, coordinate with the Analyst and TL for sign-off to the reporting units.
- Identify themes, trends, and emerging risks as part of continuous monitoring activities and support the visualization, presentation of the analyses.
- Perform ad hoc analytics requests.
Required Experience
2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (Ex. Finance, Accounting, Taxation)
- CA, CPA or equivalent designation is preferred.
