E T Consultant - Corporate Governance Advisory

Overview

The Corporate Governance (CG) Advisory Analyst is a project management and coordination function responsible for assisting in implementing CG Advisory projects in specific countries, with a focus on implementing the SME Accelerator.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and roll out of the SME Accelerator in assigned countries.
• Support analysis for developing, implementing, and monitoring advisory projects.
• Assist in developing project documents and updates on project progress.
• Support client engagement selection, documentation, and systems, including integrity due diligence and preparing legal agreements.
• Monitor development results and collect evidence using standard tools and platforms.
• Process internal systems and liaise with corporate procurement for selecting and contracting contractors and vendors.
• Liaise with finance officers to monitor project spending, revise budgets, and track contracts and payments.
• Assist in drafting proposals for clients, including budgeting and entering IDD.
• Organize and participate in discussions with clients, preparing minutes and follow-up actions.
• Assist in the selection and processing of market intermediaries, including drafting selection documentation and legal agreements.
• Coordinate logistics and support the delivery of capacity building activities for market intermediaries.
• Assist in coordinating scope of work for regulatory partners, conducting IDD, and drafting cooperation agreements.
• Coordinate logistics and support the delivery of advice to regulators on improvements to CG-related laws and codes.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a CG-related area, ideally in the private sector, private consulting firm or international organization.
• Track record in working with private sector firms or development partners across a range of industry sectors (including agribusiness, infrastructure and/or manufacturing) and/or CG standards.

Qualifications

A degree in an area related to Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting/Audit, Environmental or Social management, or other relevant discipline.
