Health Field Officer - Odesa - 863271

Overview

The Health Field Officer role contributes to the implementation, running, and monitoring of health programs in Odesa, Ukraine. This position involves follow-up of Primary Health Care and Hospitals, as well as First Aid & Pre-Hospital Emergency care activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and field visits to monitor First Aid & Pre-Hospital Emergency care activities.
• Support the assessment, preparation, coordination, and delivery of First Aid & Pre-Hospital Emergency care trainings.
• Support preparation and interpretation during workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
• Participate and update mapping of health facilities and maintain a networking list.
• Analyze statistical information and provide recommendations for assisting weapon wounded.
• Implement and follow up health databases and records for hospital activities.
• Maintain contact, visit, assess, and support primary health care facilities.
• Participate in developing primary health care strategy for Ukraine.
• Facilitate translation for mobile staff, contact with authorities, and correspondence follow-up.
• Prepare and distribute medical stock in health facilities.

Required Experience

5 to 6 years of work experience, including two years of clinical experience. At least 3 years of humanitarian experience.

Qualifications

Degree in medicine or nursing. License/certificate to practice in Ukraine. Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine.
