Overview
The role involves co-facilitating and supporting participants throughout learning events, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment, and reinforcing key management approach messages.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure thorough understanding of the WoW program objectives, philosophy, methodology, content, and design.
- Participate in pre-event meetings (kick off, briefings, crawlthroughs) to confirm project details, context, and facilitation team expectations.
- Deliver the WoW learning event, ensuring participant comprehension and facilitating interactive discussions and activities.
- Guarantee a safe and inclusive learning space based on discussion and peer learning.
- Reinforce key management approach messages, encourage consistent application of management tools, and translate learning into concrete, practical ideas.
- Support participants' learning by providing individual advice based on their needs.
- Provide feedback on training deployment, content, design, and participation during facilitation team debriefings.
- Complete documentation related to the training provided (attendance lists, certificates, etc.).
- Participate in pool meetings and learning events to acquire information and further develop facilitation skills.
Required Experience
- For WoW 1 and WoW 2 facilitators: At least 2 years of MSF experience in various contexts as an Activity Manager, or ideally at Coordination level, OR 1 year of experience with MSF and 1 year of experience with another humanitarian NGO. Experience in team management and management practices.
- For WoW CC and CPD workshops facilitators: At least 4 years of MSF experience in various contexts, at Coordination level and/or HQ, OR 2 years of experience in a Coordination role with another humanitarian NGO plus 2 years of Coordination experience with MSF. Experience in team management and management practices. Familiarity with OCP operations management practices and organizational functioning.
Qualifications
Proficiency in IT and ability to use software and applications for facilitating WoW training, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Mural, and other platforms. Adherence to MSF principles and a good understanding of the organization's activities, policies, and challenges.
