Overview
The People and Culture (Human Resources) Officer will implement People and Culture services to enhance client capacity and align People and Culture management with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for client portfolio on advice pertaining to all aspects of the employment life cycle.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to clients on P&C processes and policies.
- Proactively advise clients on the resolution of People and Culture issues.
- Promote organizational goals and targets for gender equity and cultural diversity.
- Liaise with Headquarters Divisions, regional, and country offices to support and contribute to corporate People and Culture strategy formulation.
- Keep abreast, research, benchmark, and implement best and cutting-edge practices in P&C management.
- Contribute to strategic workforce planning and recruitment of all categories of personnel.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of key P&C initiatives and strategies.
- Contribute to the implementation of the global OneHR Strategy and the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Guinea 2025 Global Staff Survey Action Plan and reporting, and other Duty of Care Initiatives.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of professional work experience at the national and/or international level in Human Resources Management; experience with an international development organization is an asset. Familiarity with humanitarian work, emergency preparedness, and response is desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration / management, international relations, psychology or another relevant field is required. A first-level university degree or equivalent in combination with relevant training and/or professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
