Overview
Support the ICAT Secretariat in delivering global climate transparency communications by managing social media, website content, and digital outreach campaigns. Assist in producing communication materials and organizing events.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to content creation, scheduling, and publishing for social media channels.
- Monitor and interact with social media engagements.
- Contribute creative ideas for content and social media campaigns.
- Measure social media post impressions, engagement, and other metrics.
- Contribute to the creation of written stories for the ICAT website.
- Write, edit, publish, and optimize website content.
- Measure website performance.
- Support the preparation and publication of the quarterly electronic newsletter.
- Support media engagement activities.
- Support the preparation of updates for partner publications.
- Assist with online and in-person ICAT events, including material creation and promotion.
- Support the hosting and management of webinars.
- Support the delivery of in-person events.
Required Experience
While no prior work experience is required, some experience or volunteering in climate change, capacity building, research, or related fields would be an asset.
Qualifications
Minimum First level university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent), or enrolled in a postgraduate program or graduated within three (3) years prior to the start date of the intern assignment. Area of study should preferably be in communications, media, marketing and/or journalism.
