Overview

Support the implementation, coordination, oversight, reporting, and quality assurance of activities under the BISP Stunting Prevention Project at divisional and district levels.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain effective liaison with various stakeholders including BISP representatives, District Health Authorities, and Cooperating Partners.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with government counterparts and community-based structures.
  • Serve as a focal point for routine operational coordination and facilitate issue resolution.
  • Support implementation of programme activities at BNP Centres and within assigned districts.
  • Conduct regular oversight visits to assess service quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Review programme records and reports to verify adherence to procedures.
  • Facilitate coordination between BNP Centres, Cooperating Partners, and district authorities.
  • Support awareness-raising and beneficiary engagement activities.
  • Assist in addressing beneficiary concerns through feedback mechanisms.
  • Organize and facilitate orientations, workshops, and capacity-building activities.
  • Provide operational guidance and implementation support to Cooperating Partners and frontline workers.
  • Support dissemination of programme guidelines and updates.
  • Contribute to strengthening capacities of implementing partners and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate preparation and review of monthly Specialized Nutritious Food (SNF) distribution plans.
  • Monitor receipt, storage, handling, distribution, and reporting of SNF commodities.
  • Monitor and support the utilization of the Benazir Nashonuma Programme application and related information systems.
  • Review commodity movement records and stock reports.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for commodity availability.
  • Identify and report commodity-related issues and shortages.
  • Conduct regular field visits using approved oversight tools.
  • Conduct random spot checks of Cooperating Partner/FC activities.
  • Review and verify programme data and distribution reports.
  • Consolidate, analyse, and present programme information.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports.
  • Review programme performance against targets and provide recommendations.
  • Document lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations.
  • Maintain organized programme files and documentation.
  • Support assessments, surveys, and monitoring missions.
  • Support implementation of beneficiary feedback and complaint management mechanisms.
  • Promote compliance with WFP operational procedures and safeguarding principles.
  • Identify implementation risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and compliance reviews.
  • Support advocacy, communication, and visibility activities.
  • Facilitate donor missions and monitoring visits.
  • Assist in preparation of briefing notes and communication materials.
  • Facilitate field visits by government officials and development partners.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
Required Experience

Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in nutrition, public health, maternal and child health, social protection, food security, community development, or related programmes. At least two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience supporting nutrition interventions, stunting prevention programmes, CMAM, maternal and child health initiatives, or related public health programmes. Demonstrated experience working with government departments, development partners, NGOs, and community-based service delivery structures. Experience in programme implementation, field monitoring, reporting, capacity strengthening, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school education (Grade 12). A post-secondary certificate in Nutrition, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Community Development, Public Administration or another relevant field. First University Degree in the relevant field is an advantage.
