MHPSS Consultant Type B (National)
Overview
The consultant will contribute to IOM Tunisia’s Migration Health Division by providing psychological services within MHD Medical Direct Assistance, including assessments, direct support, and coordination of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and psychosocial assessments of beneficiaries.
- Provide individual psychological consultations and brief interventions.
- Undertake follow-up consultations and coordinate referrals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and provide psychological input.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records.
- Provide technical input on psychological and psychosocial issues when requested.
Required Experience
At least Two (2) years of relevant professional experience in psychological assessment, counselling, mental health or psychosocial support. Demonstrated experience providing direct psychological services to vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
Qualifications
University degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited academic institution. Professional registration/licensing or authorization to practice psychology in Tunisia, where applicable, is required.
