Overview
The consultant will contribute to strengthening health system resilience to climate change and ensuring inclusive, gender-responsive health services for vulnerable populations in Tunisia.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a rapid desk review of existing national and international materials related to climate-sensitive health risks.
- Develop gender-sensitive information materials and toolkits targeting health practitioners.
- Develop a training curriculum and modules covering climate-sensitive diseases, mental health, and gender considerations.
- Organize and facilitate consultations with key stakeholders for material validation.
- Support the dissemination of finalized materials and provide recommendations for integration into the national health system.
Required Experience
- At least five (5) years of professional experience in public health, health communication, or climate change and health.
- Proven experience in developing training curricula and technical materials for health professionals.
- Experience working with UN agencies, governments, or NGOs in health, migration, or climate-related programmes.
- Demonstrated experience integrating gender-sensitive and inclusive approaches in public health programming.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in public health, Environmental Health, Climate Change, or related field from an accredited academic institution.
