Affiliate Contractor - Senior Project Associate (Reintegration)

Overview

Support the smooth implementation of IOM reintegration assistance activities in the designated area, focusing on community-based reintegration projects and individual support to beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field implementation and monitoring of Community-Based Reintegration (CBR) projects.
• Provide technical support to implementing partners and beneficiaries.
• Conduct local market assessments.
• Support EDF-related activities and linkages to livelihoods.
• Participate in remote pre-departure counselling sessions.
• Coordinate with sending missions on reintegration assistance.
• Refer migrants to specialized services and conduct follow-up.
• Prepare and undertake field missions.
• Support administrative coordination with procurement and finance units.
• Coordinate with government and non-government counterparts.
• Identify and report shortfalls in delivery.
• Participate in Community-Based Planning (CBP) methodology activities.
• Support capacity development activities.
• Prepare reports and contribute to project proposals.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Required Experience

• Seven years of relevant experience with a high school diploma; or four years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience working closely with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relations with government counterparts, local non-governmental partners, international organizations and private sector entities.
• Experience in return and reintegration, possibly in the framework of AVRR schemes, or experience in other relevant fields such as livelihood or protection programming.
• Previous experience with UN and International Agencies, international or local NGOs preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma; or Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution.
