UN2.0 Coordination Associate

Overview

Support the operationalization of UN 2.0 initiatives within the UN Country Team by contributing to data, digital, and innovation related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operationalization of UN 2.0 by contributing to data, digital, and innovation related initiatives.
• Support the use of digital technologies, AI, and innovative solutions to strengthen data use and evidence-based decision making.
• Contribute to the integration of data and digital tools into UNCT work processes.
• Support the improvement of data quality, consistency, and usability.
• Provide support for survey design, assessment preparation, data collection planning, and monitoring activities.
• Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of UNCT support materials.
• Prepare, review, and update presentations and related materials using digital and AI supported design approaches.
• Apply working knowledge of graphic design tools, including AI enabled applications.
• Support the development and implementation of a workplan for the operationalization of UN 2.0.
• Perform any other related duties, as required.

Required Experience

1 month Donor priorities . Relevant experience 3 months Demonstrated interest or experience (ideally one year): Very strong understanding of AI, IT and graphic design software; Good interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently; Strong oral and written communication skills Analytical skills: Data analysis and management; Precision and attention to detail; Ability to solve problems creatively

Qualifications

• Master's degree in - Data Science, Statistics
• - Information Systems / Information Management
• - Digital Transformation
• - Computer Science
• - Innovation Management
• - Development Studies with a strong data/digital focus
• - Public Policy or Economics with demonstrated quantitative and digital components
• Desirable Certification:
• - Data analysis and visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• - Digital transformation in the UN context (UNSSC / UN 2.0 learning paths)
• - AI literacy and ethical AI use
• - Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) or Results-Based Management (RBM)
