Overview

Support the development and implementation of programme strategies in Women’s Economic Empowerment, including drafting concept notes, conducting desk reviews, and preparing analytical briefs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of programme strategies in Women’s Economic Empowerment.
  • Support the implementation of projects under the Women’s Economic Empowerment portfolio.
  • Support the monitoring of programme activities.
  • Support advocacy, knowledge building and communication efforts.
  • Perform other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary.
Required Experience

1 month Required experience. Demonstrated interest and/or experience (ideally one year) in: Previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture, (i.e. studies, volunteer work, internship) would be highly regarded. Experience at the national or international level in development projects/ programmes is desirable. Experience in research, data analysis and data visualisation is desirable. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems is required.

Qualifications

Required education level Master's degree in economics, social sciences, human rights, gender/women's studies, international development or other related fields.
