Overview

Lead the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of education activities, providing technical guidance on Life Skills, Digital Skills, and i-UPSHIFT. Coordinate beneficiary identification, enrolment, and transition pathways for youth in TVET programmes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation, monitoring and reporting of education activities.
  • Provide technical guidance on Life Skills, Digital Skills, and i-UPSHIFT implementation.
  • Guide development, adaptation, and dissemination of training packages, implementation guidelines, monitoring tools, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Ensure consistency of project implementation and quality across primary, secondary, and TVET interventions.
  • Coordinate beneficiary identification, enrolment, retention, certification and transition pathways for youth participating in TVET programmes.
  • Coordinate life skills activities in primary, secondary schools and TVET institutions.
  • Supervise and support vocational training centres, instructors and apprenticeship partners.
  • Conduct regular supervision and quality assurance visits to Vocational Skills Training Centres.
  • Monitor learner attendance, retention, completion rates and certification processes.
  • Coordinate the distribution and accountability of vocational training materials, toolkits, equipment and learning resources.
  • Facilitate capacity building, mentorship and performance improvement for trainers, instructors and community-based structures.
  • Promote inclusion, safeguarding, gender equality, disability inclusion and protection principles across all TVET interventions.
  • Represent NRC in relevant coordination forums and contribute to programme development, innovation and continuous improvement of education and life skills activities.
  • Any other task as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience

4 years’ experience working within technical expertise area in a humanitarian/ recovery context. Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts. Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities. Experience in labour market assessments, employer engagement and private sector partnerships. Experience managing apprenticeship, internship and job placement initiatives.

University degree (preferably Education or similar)
