Finance Officer Moldova

Overview

The Finance Officer is responsible for organizing and delivering day-to-day operational finance processes, ensuring adherence to NRC’s policies and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely payment of contractors, suppliers, taxes and other expenditures.
• Verify that vouchers and supporting documents comply with NRC’s procedures.
• Ensure cash and bankbooks records are updated daily and reconciled.
• Perform daily bookkeeping and utilize the NRC Agresso accounting system.
• Ensure sufficient cash in the bank and in cash boxes.
• Coordinate with Finance teams regarding cost allocations.
• Ensure timely contribution to month-end-closure processes.
• Review partner financial reports and prepare financial verification reports.
• Ensure all supporting documents are submitted accurately.
• Communicate with partner representatives regarding comments/questions.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in Finance/Accounting
• Knowledge of Audit and local tax requirements
• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Finance or a related major
