Overview

Provide technical and methodological support to AWLN Senegal for the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of two initiatives: the second cohort of the Intergenerational Mentoring Programme and the advocacy project for the ratification of the Convention on the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the finalization of methodological tools, preparation and facilitation of the launch workshop for the second cohort of the Mentoring Programme, and the establishment and monitoring of the mentoring pairs support system for six months.
• Support the preparation and implementation of high-level advocacy actions with key institutions, in collaboration with the civil society organizations coalition.
• Design and co-facilitate the national capacity-building workshop for civil society organizations on the Convention and advocacy strategies for its ratification.
• Ensure documentation, monitoring of results, and narrative reporting of activities conducted within the framework of both initiatives, in accordance with UN Women requirements.

Required Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in advocacy, mentoring, capacity building, or program coordination related to women's rights and leadership.
• Proven experience in designing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, or advocacy actions.
• Good knowledge of the Senegalese institutional context and women's and civil society organizations.
• Experience working with the United Nations or international technical and financial partners is an asset.

Qualifications

Master's degree (or equivalent) in gender, law, political or social sciences, international development, human rights, or any other relevant field.
