Team lead - Mid-term Review of She Demines Programme, Home-based, SSA
Overview
The role involves leading a team of experts to conduct a mid-term review of the She Demines Programme in Ukraine, assessing its relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, and integration of gender equality and human rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desk review and develop an inception report.
- Lead primary data collection, including key informant interviews, online surveys, and focus group discussions.
- Prepare a first draft mid-term review report.
- Prepare and facilitate a validation workshop.
- Incorporate feedback into the final mid-term evaluation report and dissemination materials.
Required Experience
Demonstrated experience (minimum 7 years) of leading evaluations of development or humanitarian programmes, preferably for UN agencies or other international organizations. Substantive expertise in gender equality, women’s empowerment and the Women, Peace and Security agenda. Experience conducting evaluations in conflict-affected or crisis settings, including application of safety, security and "Do No Harm" protocols.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in social sciences, development studies, gender studies, evaluation or a related field.
