Provide day-to-day coordination, administrative, and documentation support for the implementation of the Digital Archive Initiative within the Relief and Social Services Department (RSSD).
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in project coordination, project support, administration, operations, or a related field is required. This must include at least 1 year of international relevant experience outside of the candidate’s home country, country of citizenship and country where the candidate have permanent residence. Experience organizing meetings, preparing minutes, tracking actions, and following up on deadlines and deliverables is required. Experience preparing progress updates, presentations, reports, and maintaining project documentation is required. Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, consultants, vendors, or service providers is desirable. Experience working on issues relating to Palestine refugees, Palestinian history and heritage, or the Middle East region is desirable. Experience with the United Nations or international organizations is desirable. Experience on archive, digitization, or research projects is desirable.
An advanced university degree (Master’s degree) in project management, business administration, public administration, management, international relations, development, social sciences, information management, or another relevant field is required. A first-level degree (bachelor’s degree) in the specified fields of studies with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Professional training or certification in project management, programme management, administration, information management, or a related area is desirable.
