Overview
The Local Project Management Specialist will support the project office in Kosovo and REU technical teams in the coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities to ensure timely achievement of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure sound and timely implementation of project activities in line with workplan, budget, and donor requirements.
- Support coordination and communication with project partners.
- Monitor project implementation against targets, milestones, and indicators, and address bottlenecks.
- Liaise with implementing entities, delivery partners, FAO teams, and UN Kosovo Team focal points for monitoring and reporting.
- Organize project coordination meetings.
- Support planning, organization, and implementation of project activities, including meetings, trainings, and workshops.
- Participate in local field visits for monitoring and reporting.
- Draft terms of reference for local project management specialists.
- Support preparation of Letters of Agreement (LoAs) and contracts.
- Contribute to project visibility, knowledge-sharing, and communication activities.
- Coordinate collection of project implementation documentation, data, and evidence.
- Support timely preparation of donor-related narrative progress and terminal reports.
Required Experience
At least five years of relevant working experience in the management and coordination of projects.
Qualifications
University degree in agriculture, economics, public or business administration, finance, accounting, social sciences, or another field related to FAO mandate.
