Overview
Contribute to Child Protection programme interventions and results related to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for children and caregivers. Manage the Child Protection section’s programme in East Jerusalem to prevent and mitigate impact of violence against children.

Required Experience
A minimum of two years of professional experience in social development planning and management in child protection related areas is required. Relevant experience in programme development in child protection related areas in a UN system agency or organization, in particular related to Child Protection In Humanitarian Action (CPHA), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), or preventing and mitigating violence against children in all settings, is considered as an asset. Experience in both development and humanitarian contexts is an added advantage. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
A university degree in one of the following fields is required: international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or another relevant social science field. An advanced university degree is an asset.
