Overview

Supports the implementation of protection activities, focusing on restoring and maintaining family links and ensuring contact with families. The position is based in Benghazi, Libya.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivers ICRC family links services and supports beneficiaries and families of missing persons.
• Supports the Protection Team Leader in meetings, training, and technical support.
• Monitors government policies and guidelines related to missing persons.
• Maintains contact with families of missing persons to assess needs.
• Manages information related to missing persons, including database searches and data analysis.
• Contributes to protection reporting and analysis, including drafting reports and identifying protection issues.
• Prepares, participates in, and reports on Protection field visits.

Required Experience

2 years' work experience in a similar function, with an INGO or other international Organisation. Prior ICRC experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

University degree.
