LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN WORKFORCE SUPPORT & L&D SPECIALIST (BASED IN ANY OCBA HUB)
Overview
Implement key components of the Logistics & Supply Chain Workforce Support Programme, strengthening responsible leadership, workforce capability and organisational effectiveness across MSF logistics operations. The role translates operational challenges into practical workforce development and learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement workforce support interventions.
- Conduct workforce diagnostics and analyse dynamics.
- Advise on workforce development priorities and leadership challenges.
- Facilitate workforce diagnostic workshops and action-planning processes.
- Support newly appointed managers during onboarding and transition phases.
- Promote responsible leadership, safeguarding, accountability, diversity, equity and inclusion principles.
- Monitor the implementation and progress of agreed workforce action plans.
- Generate evidence-based recommendations and workforce insights.
- Identify learning and development needs and facilitate capacity-building initiatives.
- Support the deployment, maintenance and effective utilisation of the Talent Management System (TMS).
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of MSF logistics experience, including substantial field assignments. Previous experience as Logistics Coordinator, in both regular missions and emergency contexts. Experience leading multicultural teams in complex operational environments. Experience in Learning & Development, Workforce Development and/or Organisational Development. Experience collaborating with senior managers and cross-functional stakeholders. Strong knowledge of MSF logistics systems and operational environments. Knowledge of workforce/organisational development methodologies, leadership development approaches, safeguarding, accountability and DEI principles. Experience in coaching, mentoring and facilitation will be considered an asset. Experience delivering workforce diagnostics or organisational development interventions will be considered an asset.
Qualifications
Technical degree in Logistics or a logistics-related field.
