Overview
Interns will support the United Nations Operations and Crisis Centre (UNOCC) Front Office, providing decision-making support to UN senior leadership through integrated information and crisis hub functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the work of the UNOCC Front Office
- Provide decision-making support to UN senior leadership
- Offer integrated information and crisis hub functions
- Conduct cross-pillar analytics
- Enhance situational awareness
- Support risk and crisis management
Required Experience
- Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience
- Relevant coursework in political science, international relations, human rights or related fields is required
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
- OR be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
