Overview
To help lead and facilitate a coordinated approach to accountability to affected people across the Ukraine response.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and co-facilitate the AAP Working Group, supporting membership, participation and engagement of national actors.
- Strengthen linkages between the AAP WG and clusters, cross-cutting groups and thematic areas.
- Support the design and rollout of AAP capacity-building strategies, tools and mentoring.
- Ensure community perspectives inform decision-making by strengthening feedback pathways, analysing trends, and promoting harmonised information-sharing.
- Map, document and coordinate AAP initiatives.
- Represent AAP priorities in relevant coordination fora.
- Deliver training and targeted support on AAP.
- Support UNHCR’s internal AAP mechanisms through monitoring, gap analysis, consolidation of feedback, and recommendations.
Required Experience
- Demonstrable experience in community engagement, AAP, community-based protection, or related fields within humanitarian operations.
- Experience facilitating and supporting multi-stakeholder coordination, including government and civil society partners.
- Experience delivering training, mentoring and capacity-building to diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to synthesise feedback and identify programme implications.
Qualifications
• A university degree in political science, social science, international studies or another relevant field.
