Overview
This opportunity is for the construction and commissioning of Khavirga Border Crossing Point Facilities and Infrastructure under the Border Efficiency for Sustainable Trade Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction and completion of Khavirga Border Crossing Point Facilities and Infrastructure.
- Scope includes design and construction works for customs laboratory, customs warehouse, telecommunication systems, one health laboratory, wind barrier fence, flood protection channel, landfill facility, solar PV system, external heating network, one-stop inspection canopies, secondary inspection canopies and platforms, external water supply & sewerage network, weighbridges, external power supply, radiation monitoring equipment, smart gate system, greenery, landscaping & fence, and road works.
- Scope also includes demolition work, cargo terminal building and staff office renovation, passenger terminal building, ceremonial monument, one-stop inspection booths, public toilet, electrical substation building, cargo vehicle x-ray (civil and utility works), primary checkpoint buildings, perishable goods inspection building, fenced storage, detector dog facility, wastewater pump station, vehicle disinfection facility, border troop barrack, solid waste sorting area, wastewater treatment plant, staff apartment buildings, boiler house, coal and ash storage, and temporary Border Crossing Point facilities.
- Includes provision of equipment for Customs control and inspection.
Required Experience
- Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of US$ 22,780,000 calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years (2022, 2023, and 2024).
- Financial resources for the Subject Contract of US$ 3,207,000.
- Participation as a contractor, joint venture partner, or subcontractor, in at least one (1) contract that have been satisfactorily and substantially completed within the last seven (7) years (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) and that are similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder’s participation under each contract exceeds US$ 22,780,000.
- Similarity of participation based on physical size, nature of works, complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics including:
(1) Construction of a multi-building public infrastructure complex comprising not less than five (5) permanent buildings;
(2) Construction of buildings with a total gross area of not less than 1000 m2;
(3) Construction of internal roads, yards, and paved areas with a total area of not less than 5000 m², designed for heavy vehicle traffic;
(4) Implementation of integrated utility networks including power supply, heating, water supply, sewerage, and fire protection.
