Overview
The role of Secretary to the Unit involves providing assistance and secretarial tasks, organizational and general administrative support to the Head of Unit and team members within the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assignment of tasks and their follow-up within the unit
- Follow-up of mails, letters, requests, etc.
- Involvement in procedural steps
- Organisation of internal and external meetings
- Correspondence management
- Preparation of travel arrangements (including preparation of mission orders and expense claims)
- Support related to human resource management aspects (SYSPER2)
- Ordering catering and office supplies
- Other general administrative and logistic support as need arises
Required Experience
- Adequate IT skills
- Hands-on experience with various Commission IT tools are required.
Qualifications
- Have a level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma OR
- A level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years.
