Overview
Provide professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for nutrition programmes/projects within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results. Implement a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and management of nutrition initiatives through situation analysis, research, and documentation for effective planning and review.
- Collaborate with teams and partners to oversee and evaluate projects, ensure compliance, resolve issues, and deliver timely reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct field visits, provide guidance to partners, address challenges, and ensure successful implementation of nutrition programs.
- Foster strong relationships with government, UN agencies, and donors, draft advocacy materials, and contribute to resource mobilization and inter-agency initiatives.
- Capture and share best practices, apply innovative solutions, and participate in training to strengthen stakeholder capabilities and project outcomes.
Required Experience
- 2 years of relevant work experience in Nutrition, Health and Nutrition, Programme Management, Partnerships, Knowledge Management, nutrition, public health, nutrition planning and management, maternal, infant and child health nutrition care, health nutrition programme project development and any other related fields.
- Previous experience with Stakeholder Coordination, Field Visit Monitoring and Analytic skills.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
• Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Health, nutrition, public health, nutritional epidemiology, global international health and nutrition, health nutrition research, policy and or management, health sciences, health-related science field and any other related fields.
