Overview

Conduct an endline evaluation of the Integrated Emergency Response to the Displaced Population project in Northwest Nigeria, assessing its performance, outcomes, and impact to inform future humanitarian programming.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a rigorous methodology for the endline evaluation.
  • Assess overall project performance and effectiveness against objectives and outcomes.
  • Measure changes in key outcome indicators across sectors (Health, Nutrition, Protection, WASH, MPCA).
  • Evaluate the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of the intervention.
  • Generate evidence-based lessons learned and best practices.
  • Inform future programming, policy, and scale-up of integrated humanitarian responses.
  • Review, validate, and analyze project indicators, disaggregating by sex, age, and population group.
  • Develop and submit an Inception Report, including refined methodology, evaluation matrix, sampling strategy, and workplan.
  • Conduct data collection training.
  • Perform data cleaning, analysis, and submit a draft report.
  • Present preliminary findings.
  • Submit a final revised report incorporating feedback.
  • Deliver a PowerPoint presentation summarizing key findings, lessons learned, and recommendations.
  • Submit all datasets, tools, reports, and supporting documentation.
Required Experience
  • At least five years in evaluations.
  • Significant experience in assessment, data analysis, visualization, and data verification and validation systems.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Knowledge of the current literature/practice on displacement-related to protection, health and nutrition, ERMS, WASH and Shelter programming.
  • Experience of participatory, equity and gender responsive evaluations.
Qualifications

• Advanced university degree or equivalent in Humanitarian/Development Studies, Social Sciences, statistics or other fields related to the provision of humanitarian assistance in WASH, Health, Nutrition, Protection and/or other relevant sectors.
