Overview
The Visiting Professional role in the Judicial Cooperation Unit involves conducting research, drafting reports, and liaising with external actors on judicial cooperation issues. The purpose is to support the Court's strategic approach to judicial cooperation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting research and drafting summary reports on external relations and judicial cooperation issues.
- Attending meetings and conferences, preparing supporting documentation, summaries, or minutes.
- Liaising with representatives of States, intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations, and other external actors.
- Drafting notes verbales, diplomatic correspondence, reports, and requests for assistance.
- Preparing filings to the relevant Chambers on cooperation issues.
- Supporting logistical and other related preparations for events.
- Performing any other duties as required.
Required Experience
At least 3 (three) years of relevant professional experience.
Qualifications
A degree in law, demonstrating very good knowledge in international /national criminal law, public international law, international humanitarian law or human rights. Candidates are expected to have a very good record of academic performance.
