Overview
This opportunity is for a Visiting Professional within the Office of Public Counsel for Victims at the International Criminal Court. The role involves assisting in legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing background information for cases before the Court.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting legal memoranda and conducting research on a wide range of legal issues;
- Prepare factual background documents on situations and cases before the Court;
- Assist in drafting legal opinions;
- Review evidence and prepare witness summaries;
- Undertake ad hoc legal assignments as requested.
Required Experience
Candidates must have at least 3 (three) years of relevant full-time professional experience.
Qualifications
All Candidates must have a law degree (preferably in criminal law, public international law, humanitarian law, human rights law, or comparative law) from a recognized university. Candidates are expected to have a very good record of academic performance.
